Announced at CES 2022, LG’s DualUp monitor has a rather unusual format that might appeal to some developers. Its surface is equivalent to two 21.5-inch QHD screens stacked one above the other, for a 27.6-inch (70 cm) diagonal, with a surprising aspect ratio of 16:18 (2,560 x 2,880 pixels). DualUp is equipped with LG’s Nano IPS panel, which supports HDR10 and covers 98% of the DCI-P3 range of colors. As for ports, DualUp comes with two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort, several USB-A 3.0 ports and a USB-C port (with DP video and 90W charging). Also included, a headset jack and two 7W speakers. The monitor delivers with LG’s Ergo stand that easily clamps to most desks and allows for a wide range of positions. The monitor is now available for USD 700 in the US, but doesn’t seem to be for sale in Canada yet.
