Satya Nadella, Microsoft CEO, said in the Q3 2022 earnings conference call that companies are adopting Windows 11 at a more rapid rate than the previous versions. Nadella revealed no further details on a phenomenon that can only be good news for Microsoft. This bit of information is one of the company’s very positive results, which announced earnings of 49.4 billion USD (an increase of 18% over the same quarter last year) and a net income of 16.7 billion USD (up 8% from last year). The sale of Windows licenses to PC manufacturers increased by 11%, as did commercial Office product income. Microsoft’s biggest driver of growth remains its cloud services, whose sales figures increased 26% year over year, for a total of 19.1 billion USD in earnings. Things are going swimmingly for Microsoft.

Ars Technica, Andrew Cunningham, “Businesses are adopting Windows 11 more quickly than past versions, says Microsoft.”
