The Wall screen is monumental, with a 1,000-inch (25.4 m) diagonal. Given its size and price, it’s not really meant for home use, but rather for public places such as shopping malls. It’s based on MicroLED technology, which offers the same benefits as OLED (i.e. better color rendering, high contrast with deep blacks, and low power consumption) while giving more durable screens thanks to inorganic pixels. The new version of the Wall features smaller LEDs, which Samsung says should result in higher contrast and better color uniformity. Color purity is also improved over the 2020 model, with a new AI processor that further improves image quality and contrast, while removing noise. The display has an 8K resolution with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and because of the modular panels, it can be arranged in different configurations. The price has not been publicly announced. Probably 6 digits.

The Verge, Jon Porter, “Samsung’s colossal 1,000-inch MicroLED display has improved colors and a thinner design.”
