BlackBerry DTEK50
Last year, BlackBerry introduced its first-ever Android phone, the Priv. Following disappointing sales, BlackBerry has come out with the DTEK50, its latest touchscreen phone… without a keyboard. The handset itself will look familiar – it comes from TCL Corporation, the Chinese company that brought us the Alcatel Idol 4 handset. But the DTEK50’s software is unique, as it is all about security and data encryption. BlackBerry guarantees that its Android phone is “the world’s most secure smartphone”.

One Billion iPhones
On Wednesday, during a company meeting, Tim Cook announced the sale, this week, of Apple’s billionth iPhone. Rumour has it that the iPhone 6S will merely continue its evolution with the next model, while a revolution is being planned for 2017, to coincide with the iPhone’s 10th birthday.

SamsungOne
Several large corporations have developed bespoke typefaces to identify their brand. In the IT world, Google has Roboto, and Apple, San Francisco; now, Samsung has joined the select group with its SamsungOne.
